Elisabeth Belliveau, (she/her) b. Antigonish Nova Scotia. Based in Treaty 6 Territory - Amiskwaciwaskahikan, Edmonton AB, BFA Alberta University of the Arts, MFA Concordia University MTL.
Elisabeth is an artist and published author of graphic novels. Her current work explores contemporary still life through a feminist lens. Her work employs close watching captured through moving image, and sculpture. She has attended residencies including Tokyo Arts and Space, Studio Kura Itoshima, Ravi Belgium, and the NFB/ ONF. Recent exhibitions include Alone in the house' at G44, Capture Photo and Grunt Gallery public screen in Vancouver.
