In this booklet, Sr Susanna leads us into solitude, a place of deep prayer to connect with the mystery of the universe. Our understanding of solitude as a quiet place without disturbance needs a shift in understanding. Solitude includes a mental space as well as an external place, an inner space where we are able to control our runaway thoughts. Most of us are unaware that our ego rules our life with unabated thinking, filling us with ourselves and leaving little room for God. Clearing an inner place where we can unite in consciousness and love with the Divine is the aim of this book.
