I loved this book! It's refreshingly different to most mainstream crime/thriller fiction as it steers well clear of stereotypes and predictable commercial formula most crime novels follow. It had plenty of action and genuine characters, and it takes a good hard look at real life for those on the edge of modern Australian society. (Angela, Brisbane)

Crack Falling gave me an insight into the daily struggle of someone whose already fragile grip on life has tipped him over the edge by dire circumstances and messing with drugs. The fictional story of Flint and his nemeses, Hughie and Ivan; and his love for Gwennie, felt very real. (Helga B, Cairns)

I went on the ride with you . . . it blew my hair back made me laugh and cringe and worry and sigh and laugh again. Like riding a wild brumby through the scrub on bareback . . . hair-raising and uncomfortable - but thrilling. (Sam B, Cairns)
