This book is what remains of the completed poems of my LGBTQ incarcerated mother. These poems were not only an expression of how she saw the world and life itself, but also how she processed so many of her mental and emotional disabilities. Her POV is important and most importantly, a sample of the voices too long kept silent. This artistic expression work also contains a few of her drawings, though the cover art was a photographic tribute to the work by her son in law, Chase Ambrosecchia.
