Neal Asher divides his time between Essex and Crete, mostly at a keyboard and mentally light-years away. His full-length novels are as follows. First is the Agent Cormac series: Gridlinked, The Line of Polity, Brass Man, Polity Agent, and Line War. Next comes the Spatterjay series: The Skinner, The Voyage of the Sable Keech, and Orbus. The Transformation Trilogy includes: Dark Intelligence, War Factory, and Infinity Engine. Set in a dystopian future, the Owner Trilogy consists of: The Departure, Zero Point, and Jupiter War. Neal's Rise of the Jain series is also set in the Polity Universe and consists of The Soldier, The Warship, and The Human. His standalone novels include Hilldiggers, Prador Moon, Shadow of the Scorpion, The Technician, Jack Four, and Weaponized, all set within the Polity, as well as World Walkers, which is set in the world of the Owner Trilogy.
Praise for Neal Asher:

"Balls-to-the-walls levels of exuberance and inventiveness." —Locus Magazine on Dark Diamond

"Imaginative, energetic and insane." —SFX

"Over the years I have returned to several comparisons when describing Asher's work: Doc Smith (for space operatics), Olaf Stapledon (for vast galactic-historical sweep), Jacobean revenge tragedy (for grotesquery, melodrama, and gaudy violence), carnival thrill rides (for mere visceral excitement). All those apply here, and those titanic battle sequences suggest that I add the Marvel superhero franchise—thrill rides for the eyes—to the list...but it's also a lot smarter than those thrill-ride movies." —Locus Magazine

"With mind-blowing complexity, characters, and combat, Asher's work continues to combine the best of advanced cybertech and military SF." —Publishers Weekly, STARRED REVIEW

"Asher's intergalactic chess match combines vivid descriptions of human, alien, and AI psyches with explosive and violent confrontations...Asher's distinctive and compelling adventure will appeal to fans of military science fiction, space opera, and even cyberpunk." —Booklist

"Neal Asher's books are like an adrenaline shot targeted directly at the brain." —John Scalzi

"Non-stop action and unimaginable stakes." —Yoon Ha Lee
