Bundesstaatsrecht kann dem Worte nach heissen Recht des Bundesstaates und Staatsrecht des Bundes. Es ist aber der Name nicht im ersten, sondern im zweiten Sinne zu nehmen. In Be tracht kommt einerseits nicht das Recht berhaupt mit Bezug auf den Bund, also nicht Theile der Rechtsordnung, wie Privat recht, Strafrecht und Process, sondern nur das Staatsrecht bezw. Auf den Staat und die Staatenverbindung als solche bez gliche Rechtss tze, und anderseits nicht nur das Staatsrecht des Bundes staates, sondern des Bundes im weiteren Sinne. Als Theile des Gesammttitels ergeben sich also "bund und "staatsrecht, die n her zu er rtern bleiben.
