Keeps You Reading

"It kept me turning the pages but I just didn't love it."

Lauren R. (3/5)

A Popcorn Thriller Worth the Read

"There is just something about a Freida McFadden book that makes it an instant success. You can practically guarantee that you'll enjoy it to some degree. Some books more than others but always with a baseline expectation of enjoyment. As such, that was the case with this one. It was such a popcorn thriller esque read that was entertaining throughout. It took the stereotype of ""Supermom"" and housewife extraordinaire but twisted it into a thriller read. There really was everything in this book: shock factor, humour, horror, etc. The author also strategically introduces so many characters that it's difficult to keep tabs on all of them and only realize their importance later on in the story. If you enjoy an entertaining thriller that keeps you guessing, especially one featuring a Mom who would do anything for her family, this is one to check out."

So good!

"I really enjoyed this book. It definitely had me thinking one way only to be proven wrong! It’s got all the things I love in a book, suspense, twists and a bit of humour. I highly recommend this one."

CandyR (5/5)

Not sure it was worth the read

"Reading this book is like eating candy, high in calories, satisfying at the time but easily forgettable. You won't waste brain cells on this, but may be entertained. Likely to become a TV series."

Really enjoyed the end

"Really enjoyed the end and I love it good pick for your next read"

"4. 5 stars which I will round up to 5 because if I wasnt reading I was wishing I was. Dear Debbie certainly leads up to its hype and is a bit different than other Freida McFadden books but still very enjoyable and so easy to binge read. Debbie is an advice columinst for the local paper and lives with her husband and two daughters. Debbie has her own secrets and wathces her family like a hawk. She can be quite unhinged at times and fiercly protective so leave her family alone. That's all I am saying except there is a relentless mix of secrets, lies and the twist you dont see coming."
