"...I found reading this book an absolute hoot, and it was also nice to see a standard "other world" series where the focus is on a girl and her friendships and not possible romantic interests." --Sean Gaffney, A Case Suitable for Treatment (Manga Bookshelf)

"If you missed this one when it was released as an e-book back in February, it''s worth picking up in hard copy - it works well within its subgenre and is also a nice break from the general tendency towards bringing over isekai works with heroes rather than heroines." --Anime News Network

Great book.

"This is probably the funniest book in the light novel series, I can't speak for every reader though. Really nice story and compared to other power fantasy isekais this has a couple of unique points. 1. The main protagonist is a heroine which doesn't automatically make her better than any male protagonists but does bring out a fresh experience, 2. She actually knows how to (sort of) hold back. Generally mcs (main characters) don't hold back at all, it's all just edgy stuff, this is not that. Mile desperately tries to hold back as if her whole life depends on it and while sometimes she fails and other times she's forced to, the story mainly focuses on the development of her teammates' strength 3. Nothing cringe. I don't know how to exactly say this but similar point 2 it doesn't focus on having edgy protagonists and erotic female supports. It's more focused on humour (I can't promise every joke to land). So yeah, I'm not really an essay writer but that's my opinion."
