Je les repris, je les corrigeai, je les pourvus d quel ques explications, et les rendis ainsi propres la publication. Rassembl s, ils ne formaient pas encore un juste volume. J'y joignis trois morceaux qui n'ont encore paru nulle part deux de ces mor ceaux taient commenc s, non achev s; le troisieme, compos tout expr s, raconte comment j'ai fait mon Dictionnaire de la langue fran aise. Tout cela me demanda beaucoup de temps; car les soins de la maladie sont fort exigeants; et d'ailleurs je n'ai ja mais interrompu ma collaboration la Revue de la philosophie positive.
