Born in Qubec City, Canada, in 1966, Guy Delisle now lives in the south of France with his wife and two children. Delisle spent ten years working in animation, which allowed him to learn about movement and drawing. He is best known for his travelogues about life in faraway countries: Burma Chronicles, Jerusalem: Chronicles from the Holy City, Pyongyang, and Shenzhen. He has since expanded his oeuvre by telling a Doctors Without Borders acquaintance’s story as a nail-biting thriller (Hostage) and revisiting his teen years and first summer job (Factory Summers).
Even More Bad Parenting Advice . . . does what it says on the tin, sending up Delisle's inadequacies as a father in a series of beady vignettes." - The Guardian Best Graphic Novels of 2014

"Guy Delisle brings the many funny, heartwarming, profound and sometimes downright surreal moments of parenting to life in [ Even More Bad Parenting Advice ], this second comic treatise on raising children. Delisle's slightly neurotic tendencies come through to hilarious effect, from getting into a long-winded and totally inappropriate conversation about night-crawling psychopaths to ruminating on the dangers of pinatas." - CBC Books Holiday Gift Guide

" Even More Bad Parenting Advice is a great read for anyone who had that father or is that father. The stories are quick, yet well paced with moments of tension built through repeated cartoons. The jokes are sly and subtle so that they come alive more and more with every read, making the book something readers will pick up again and again for a smile." - Blogcritics
