It was good

"Full disclosure I watched the show first. I had to grab this one because our bookclub is reading Heated Rivalry for Aprils club so obviously I needed to read book one first. In the show I love Kip and Scott the most and it still translated in the book as well. The one thing that did piss me off is Scott is supposed to be blonde so why is the show is he the farthest thing from blonde? Otherwise they literally follow each other exactly. No other complaints it was an easy read, I demolished it in 3 hours. I’ll be grabbing book two shortly and I would recommend this read to others."

"Game Changer had me laughing, crying, and desperately hoping for that HEA! This MM hockey romance brings the spice—so much so that at first, I worried it might overshadow the story. But nope! The heat in the beginning only makes Scott and Kip’s journey even more swoon-worthy. You can’t help but root for them. Scott is the ultimate book boyfriend—he wants to love Kip so badly, but his hockey career complicates things. And let’s be real, I dreaded the third-act breakup because I knew it would break my heart. But I trusted Rachel Reid to give these characters the HEA they deserved, and she delivered! This is the first book in the series, and I’m already excited for the next one. If you love MM hockey romance with the perfect blend of angst, spice, and swoon, this one’s for you! 🔥 Spice: 3. 5/5 ⭐ Rating: 4/5"
