This is a book for children (Ages 6-14) about a young extraterrestrial boy who came to Earth as an infant, learned about life on Earth, and then returned to his own planet, Rockandoh, up in the Universe. There are several themes in the book that can be explored by the reader and/or adult reading with a child. The themes include what it is like to be different from others, learning how to communicate through words or signals, the concept of immortality, appreciation of nature, and really knowing and understanding one's self. The author narrates the story in English, with a noticeable Italian accent. Her narration provides a personal touch making readers and listeners feel a deeper connection to the author and her story.
