"Wonderfully addictive and electric, Greenwich Park gets under your skin from the very first pages and it’s impossible to look away from the tangle of friendships, the haunting of a guilty past, and the unease of a growing obsession. While many thrillers are set in early motherhood, Katherine Faulkner brilliantly explores the anxious weeks before the baby is born, when the tension is as high as our hopes. I can’t wait to read what Faulkner writes next." --Ashley Audrain, New York Times bestselling author of The Push

Served Its Purpose

"3. 5 stars This is an enjoyable and suspenseful mystery thriller. I will caution though that there are definite trigger warnings for pregnancy loss and miscarriage. I think this is one of those thrillers that just sort of 'met expectations'. The plot was good, I was intrigued, and I don't think it was overly easy to predict what happened. My predictions changed over the course of the book. The explanation and eventual conclusion. . . makes sense and fits with the story. There were some instances where I did have to look aside and suspend my sense of disbelief. I don't want to get into too much of spoiler territory so I will keep it vague but an example would be with a newfound friend moving into a character's home. Even with the circumstances, I still found it extremely odd. Overall, I would say that this book is a success in that it accomplished what it meant to do and was a read that help me in anticipation. Was it a favourite? No but it did its job."

A book you think about for a while after you're finished

"I love the author's writing style, going between the perspectives of the different characters, and how she developed the setting. . . . . the old english homes and its garden, the streets, the city. . . . . the details were amazing, vivid. A great read."

Great Holiday Read

"Without wanting to get into any spoiler territory, this was a fabulous page-turner. A little thriller and a lot drama; if you're a Taylor Jenkins Reid fan this might be your cup of tea. None of the characters are flawless, but they're all terribly (/wonderfully?) human in a way that sticks."

C. S. (5/5)
