Slow start but great character depth

"I really liked the anime so I wanted to read the manga to complete the story. There's a lot of action and character development, but the pace is slow. If you're into Solo Leveling with action scenes every 5 seconds, I recommend you skip this. For those who want to be dedicated, the ending is definitely worth it."

Yuji Kaku debuted as a mangaka in 2009 with the one-shot “Omoide Zeikan” (Memory Customs), which won honorable mention in the 14th Jump SQ Comic Grand Prix. He went on to write several other one-shots before beginning his first series, Fantasma, which ran in Jump SQ from 2013 to 2014. Hellʼs Paradise: Jigokuraku is his second series.
