Mediocre Holiday Read

"This book started off with an ok premise, but it made for a slow and painful read. 1 star lost for the FMC who is insufferable and immature. I should remove another star for the name “Storee” Another star lost for the “spicy” scenes that were poorly written. I couldn’t help but laugh at the thought that A) someone wrote this, B) it went through editing, and C) it was approved and printed for sale. Exhibit A (referring to Storee’s… chest): “Round globes with dusty-pink nipples, pert and hard, ready for my fingers” GLOBES????? Nothing sexier than referring to your lady’s tatas than by using the word “globe” A third star lost for my general dislike for this book. The ending was disappointing with the twist it had, it did not evoke anything but frustration to an already aggravating read. Why was there Grinch-esque poetry throughout the book AND a narrator that made multiple appearances, but only spoke to Cole? There may have been a holly jolly sidekick in this book, but it was not a holly jolly read."

I've started this book and to sum it up it is Christmas in a book. As someone who loves the Grinch this is going to be a very fun and entertaining read!
