The poetry anthology bemourns the rampant corruption in the Republic of Serengeti. Lions are dethroned after being accused of trampling on other animals' rights and dignity and hyenas, through sly lobbying by wild dogs and foxes, take over. To the shock of their lives citizens of serengeti are taught a new hym 'hyenas' bellies never fill'! Hyenas start looting the serengeti with impunity; over-hunting and over-grazing the national fiscus through cartels, money laundering, racketeering and smugglings. Warthog is puzzled and he asks 'should we all die who will you rule? Should we all perish who will you eat?
