Love the first, the second could have been better

"I really liked the first book in this series. I couldn't put it down. The plot and characters were interesting. The second book however, was a let down. Don't get me wrong, it was a good story, but it seemed more like a fan-fiction than an actual book/sequel."

"These two books are definitely worth a read! I really like how the author separated these two books because in all honesty, they could have been merged into one. However, due to the fact of their being two books, it adds to the suspense of what will happen next and there are two dramatic ending now due to the two books. It also allows the author to go in details in each book about what happens, about how it affects the main character and other characters around her and for us to really understand what is going on in the novels due to the many details provided to us to help us better understand the content written. These books are full of suspense, love, family, loss, and so much more. Worth a read!"

"I recived this as a gift, my grandmother purchased this becasue of all the hype it was getting after the movie, I feel like it had more potentail. (Although you should keep in mind that I do not particularly like any sort of book based soeley around romance) It was just a dead book (no pun intended) nothing interesting ever happened beyond the crash, I was so dissapionted I never even got to starting the second book."
