In addition to being an illustrator, designer, and writer, Jenny Walton is known the world over for her always unique and urbane joie de vivre and elegant, playful, and aspirational sense of style. She first made a splash as a street style star and is now highly regarded within the global fashion industry for her expressive individuality and her passion for wearing and collecting vintage. Jenny writes the Vintage Shopping column at Vogue Magazine (entitled “From the Archives with Jenny Walton”) and her eponymous substack newsletter, Jenny Sais Quoi (for which the book is named).

A graduate of Parsons with a BFA in Fashion Design, Jenny worked in knitwear and as a jewelry designer, while also honing her skills as an illustrator, working for such brands as Prada, Miu Miu, Bottega Veneta, and Gucci. Jenny recently relocated to Milan, Italy, which, for her, has been a life-changing visual, cultural, and emotional renaissance. As her audience only continues to grow, she delights, amuses, and inspires her many thousands of followers on Instagram, where she regularly posts her clever, and often humorous fashion and style musings and showcases her glorious authentic style.

‘Exceptionally personal—it’s part scrapbook, part diary, part sketchpad, and part photo-essay. Yet it’s also relatable: Readers will have the distinct thrill, flipping through Jenny’s illustrations and selfies and sketches and reading her personal essays, of seeing themselves in her shoes.' – Domino

‘There is an air of romanticism to everything Jenny Walton does. . . In her newly-published tome, one finds an equally delight-inspiring collection of watercolors and essays that go one step beyond the usual coffee table book content to advise us on how one might go about living like Walton.’ – Vogue

‘The chronicles of Walton's cinematic life and inimitable personal style are heading offline and onto the page.’ – Who What Wear

‘Part scrapbook, part sketchbook, part sartorial manifesto. . . Walton didn’t simply write the book—she illustrated it, photographed it, and pieced it together like a visual diary of her own life … The effect is intimate rather than polished, tactile rather than glossy—a fashion book that feels, refreshingly, like something made by hand.’ – Vogue

‘Her lavishly illustrated book—part visual diary, part artist’s portfolio, part style-coach manual – leads readers to find inspiration, as she does, in the world around them.’ – Bal Harbour Magazine
