Poor quality, case is coming apart along a seam

"Bought my new Kobo Clara Colour and sleep cover in September, it is now January 10th. This Kobo and cover has NEVER been dropped and it has been babied but I just noticed black pieces in my lap when reading today and it has come from the corner of the case being cracked and pieces falling off. I pulled my Kobo out of the case and noticed the case is cracking all along one of the seams. Very disappointed in the quality, especially with the price of these cases."

Overpriced for Quality

"Initially I thought this case was amazing. It is soft and the stand works and is comfortable to hold. Today, about a month after light use. . . noticed a crack in the corner. For like 40 bucks that's crazy! It's left my house twice, secured in my bag in a knit pouch for extra protection, just to get to my parents house. I've never even come close to dropping it and am very gentle with it as it's on a new piece of tech, and I've never taken the Kobo out after putting the case on initially. I'm really surprised at the poor quality of the official cover. No idea how it would have gotten cracked."

Not durable!

"While it initially was good a good case, the sides of the hard shell case have started to crack for no reason. This was after very light use for only a few months. Contacted Kobo and despite it being a design flaw, it is not covered under their warranty. They suggested I put something heavy on it that caused it to crack, which is not the case. Lesson learned… I will be purchasing an off-brand case next for a fraction of the price."

Poor Quality: Edge of Cover Cracked w/gentle use

"Poor Quality Product: Corner of Cover Cracked after 2 months of gentle use, never dropped. Cover still functions with crack (still holds Kobo), but there is a sharp plastic edge that could cut your hands or snag fabric. Overall cover looks and feels nice. Cover works as a stand, but tends to sit a little skewed."

"Love my new Kobo Clara! I had been thinking of getting an e-reader for travel and I’m so happy with this purchase. The colour option for cover pics and graphic novels is very cool. I got a clear case with a pop socket and stickers to go with it. Highly recommend!! I still love physical books but this is an awesome option for travel or just keeping in my bag for on the go reading."

kobo clara SleepCover colour

"Enjoying the feel and looks of my green kobo clara sleepcover. :Like very much the on and off button on the backside of the sleepcover! Used the foldable sleepcover stand capability a few times now and find it very handy to stand up the screen while working at the table having to jot done notes while reading. As well, the texture and feel of sleepcover holding it when reading is soft, comfortable material. Overall very pleased. Thank you Kobo!"
