H. W. Crocker III is the bestselling author of the prize-winning comic novel The Old Limey, the Custer of the West novel series, and several historical works, including Triumph, The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Civil War, The Politically Incorrect Guide to the British Empire, and Robert E. Lee on Leadership. A former newspaperman and political speechwriter, and Executive Editor of Regnery Publishing for more than thirty years, his journalism has appeared in National Review, The American Spectator, Spectator World, Crisis, The National Catholic Register, The Catholic Thing, The San Diego Union, The Orange County Register, The Washington Times, and many other outlets. A native of San Diego, he earned his undergraduate degree at the University of California at San Diego and his graduate degree at the University of Southern California School of International Relations in London, England. He is married to a former cheerleader and lives in seclusion in the Deep South.
“H.W. ‘Harry’ Crocker III, is perhaps the most incredibly versatile author America has yet to produce in the 21st century. Whether he is writing fiction, or about military history, current political events, religious history, or virtually any other topic, his clear prose is a delight to read, and his meticulous research is irrefutable. Crocker carries his reader along with him into the field of espionage and the work of the legendary Office of Strategic Services (OSS), as the Nazis conquer most of Europe and North Africa, World War II nears its tipping point, and the fate of the world hangs in the balance. I don’t want to give anything away, but Kruger’s Korps is a continuation of the Crocker tradition of excellence. The reader will not be disappointed.”
