Una historia protagonizada por una babosa, es decir por un pequeño molusco terrestre. El pequeño tiene muchas ganas de que su mamá lo abrace, tal como ha visto que hacen otras madres con sus hijos. Sin embargo, la suya no quiere abrazarlo. ¿Por qué? Este tierno personaje sospecha que la razón es porque es muy feo. Para ayudarlo, varios animales le ofrecen varias soluciones que lo embellecerán: debe ponerse plumas, usar un abrigo de colores, llevar gorra, colocarse un pico de ave, etcétera. This story stars a slug, otherwise known as a small land mollusk. He very much wants his mom to hug him, like he’s seen other moms do with their kids. But his mom doesn’t want to hug him. Why not? At the end of the story, the slug discovers he doesn’t need to disguise himself to earn his mom’s love.
