Roy Montz, the author of "The Legend of Wan Hu" and "Farmer Dell and Jezebel", poetic children's books presents his third children's book, MACABEE BROTHERS, a story of two brothers who worked together on a farm for 20 years before an argument briefly split the two brothers apart. MACABEE BROTHERS is about the importance of family and how love can overcome even the most difficult obstacles.
Roy's passion is translating wonderful stories into children's poems. For Roy, a poem is like a puzzle; instead of physical pieces, he works with rhyming words, rhythm, and meter to craft stories that captivate young readers. The challenge of weaving these elements together is what fuels his passion for writing.
In addition to his poetry, Roy has written several short stories about his childhood adventures along the Mississippi River near New Orleans, one, THE CROSSING should be available soon. Roy enjoys life on his farm with his wife of over 50 years, Julia, who has been a steadfast supporter of his writing endeavors.
Roy hopes readers enjoy THE LEGEND OF WAN HU, FARMER DELL AND JEZEBEL, and now the MACABEE BROTHERs and the beautiful illustrations each book offers.
