Thomas Kingsley Troupe has written more than 30 children''s books. His book ''Legend of the Werewolf ''(Picture Window Books, 2011) received a bronze medal for the Moonbeam Children''s Book Award. Thomas lives in Woodbury, Minnesota with his wife and two young boys.

A "Sunshine State" native, Jamey Christoph studied illustration at the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. His stylish illustrations appear regularly in major newspapers and magazines and have received multiple recognitions from the Society of Illustrators and Communication Arts.

...sometimes picture books on difficult science topics are good to have, and the origami tie in was irresistable. While these had a fun story and lots of information, they really were more appropriate for grades K-3, as the publisher suggests. If you work with younger students, definitely give them a try.
