Good book, maybe not the best finish
"Whether the finale was amazing is somewhat open-ended, like the ending itself. I really enjoyed the book, but some of the description took a bit of the enjoyment away for me. Specifically, they describe a certain yellow and gifted ship so many times in so many different ways that it is somewhat annoying - they even refer to it as the color of ""I Can't Believe It's Not Butter"" at one point. Normally, Rick Riordan's description is spot-on, but I personally think he went overkill with all the time spent describing the boat, especially the shade of yellow."

Best of the series
"A good ending to the series. Probably the best book of the three. Not as impressed with his recent books though. Prefer the original Jackson series. These feel like similar style just different mythology."

Rick Riordan never ceases to amaze me with these books and I'm so excited for him to possibly make more of the story in the future. This is by far my favourite companion series to Percy Jackson."
