"Readers will identify with many of the characters, especially the protagonist … A good choice for those libraries serving fans of the occult…" —Library Journal

Twilight meets Harry Potter.” —MTV.com

“Cast reeled me in from paragraph one. I snorted and giggled through the whole thing, and devoured it in one sitting.” ―New York Times bestselling author MaryJanice Davidson

"Marked is one of the best coming of age stories to come out of Oklahoma since S. E. Hinton's The Outsiders. It teaches about the beauty of being a social outcast, friendship, and finding your own inner spirituality." —The Beltane Papers

“This amazing writing pair once again weaves together a world where rising darkness threatens and brave teens risk everything.” —RT Book Reviews

"I laughed, sighed, and definitely cried. I thought that I knew where this series was headed but the authors took me completely by surprise." —Night Owl Romance Reviews

“The saga of the House of Night series continues to smolder in Burned . . . fast paced and packed with mystery, suspense, and romance, this book is a hard one to put down.” —Voya

“The Casts, mother and daughter, have written a delightful book that's aimed at teens but will be enjoyed by readers of all ages. The trials of growing up are presented in the new and original context of a vampire society, and they're woven into a thoroughly entertaining story. Zoey is a dynamic and spunky heroine who has an amusing and realistic voice. She's surrounded by secondary characters who are just as engaging. The dialogue is sharp and the references to real people and pop culture add to the story. This promises to be a highly addictive series.” ―Romantic Times

“This is a series that should not be missed!” ―EnchantingReviews.com

“The Casts have put a very interesting new spin on vampire lore. The action is fast paced and absorbing, interspersing light moments among the intensity. When you reach the climax of the tale, you'll be on the edge of your seat. Though this is labeled a young adult novel, I strongly suspect adults of any age will enjoy it.” ―Huntress.com

Great condition. Except the pages were a little messed up. .

"I’m glad this book was in great condition. I enjoyed reading these book when I was a teenager!"

When I first started

"When I first started this series I was instantly hooked! The whole idea of a finishing school for young vampires and the teachers having their own stories was really fascinating and I was super disappointed when it all ended. I could have read it forever, even though I'm not a teenager anymore. This made my imagination go wild! Definitely will keep my entire collection forever! Love it Love it Love it! Thanks very much P. C. Cast and Kirsten Cast!"

Magic And Vampires

"Have all of these books! I loved this series growing up, it was a weird premise for sure, but i got into it really fast. Absolutely fantastic. #employeereview"

Loved it!

"My cousin recommended this book to me and I am really glad she did, I bought it on kobo and could not put it down. I can not wait to read the next books in the series."

BookLover1966 (5/5)

The worst of the vampire teen genre

"Honestly, this book is embarrassing to read. Dialogue includes offensive terms like retard, but yet it tries desperately to be diverse by having a black character and a gay character. Too bad every single conversation those characters have revolved around those traits. I read this several years ago for the first time, and when I reread it recently, it did not hold up at all."

NicoleBaldwin (2/5)

Great series

"The story and characters are great and loveable, you will get emotionally attached to them, however the writing is a little too immature- the main character ""doesn't swear"" and using words like hell or crap is a swear word"

KatrintheGr8 (4/5)

Marked

"The beginning of the series is a good, really light easy read. These books are written for young teens so a lot of the low star ratings I read are from readers outside of that target audience. Reading these books does make you want to continue on and finish the series. The only thing that I found really annoying was how many boyfriends the main character ended up with. I'm a lover of romance novels but the way how the love interests were written was poorly and overly done. I recommend these books for readers around 14 years old. If your in your 20's+ I wouldn't recommend these books if you don't like a very easy teenage style story line."

Breeanna (5/5)

Love this series

"This series is a great take on vampire life and I love the setting for the school. This book would make such a great movie! The characters a very interesting and realistic."

Mermaidmacdonald (4/5)

Nice mix of magic and vampires

"Loved this!!!! got it as a gift and i devoured the book, it was soo goooood! I love how well Zoey is written and how each of her friends have their own unique personality, even if sometimes they seem to lack depth they are still easy to love. The mix of magic with vampires is super well done and fun to imagine it all!"
