Why this book? I have been given a diagnosis that, as a result of an accident, I might well suffer loss of memory. For me, that would be a potential loss of my very self. My memory is my history. It is the warehouse where my thoughts are stored. Without my memory it would be impossible to continue my work - writing...my very being.
My fight to remember. I was determined to fight to reclaim my memory. It was no easy fight. It was no easy fight to remember. Try to recall, honestly, from an early age to that of a senior. I am now 87. To be honest with myself, I had to go back decades and ask who I was and what had I become?
I tried to be honest.
Think of yourself and ask whether you can turn back the hands of time and recollect who you were to who you are now...
