MAN ON THE RUN is taken from the Amazon MGM Studios feature documentary Man on the Run – The Story of Paul McCartney and Wings, directed by Academy Award winner Morgan Neville. The music reflects McCartney’s broadening musical horizons during the post-Beatles years, facing down myriad challenges while creating yet another decade-defining soundtrack. This set contains both lesser-known and evergreen favourites from McCartney’s solo career – from rare demos and unreleased cuts to obscure live takes – a definitive document of Paul’s emergence from the dissolution of the world’s biggest band through to his triumphant musical evolution. This album compiles together many of the operative recordings from the motion picture for the first time on vinyl – including previously unreleased tracks ‘Live and Let Die (Rockshow),’ ‘Gotta Sing Gotta Dance’ and ‘Arrow Through Me (Rough Mix).’
