Why are some nations so obsessed with self-harm and destruction?
Why is the world so messed up?
Can we not do better?
Why so much bitterness and mistrust among the warring parties?
Why do we treat one another as implacable enemies?
Why can't we behave more like members of a family of homo sapiens?
When will threats and counterthreats end?
When will the war end?
Hopefully, long-term peace is not beyond reach.
