Reboot Your Portfolio

"This book is an excellent follow up to ""Beat The Bank"". However, you require a little bit of knowledge on ETF's. S & P 500 and TSX 60. The book starts off great but gets a little slow in the middle but does pick up in the end. As a novice I do not believe you would be ready to jump in and commence ""Do it yourself Investing with confidence. "" In spite of that I found it gave me sufficient knowledge to research other investment companies ETF investments. (Like Fidelity and Harvest) They have ETF's that mirror the S & P 500 and TSX 60. You do get active management but at a lower cost that Mutual Funds. It is worth a read prior to investing in ETF's. It will prepare you when speaking with your financial advisor. I would recommend this book and wish I had read it a few years ago. You will not be disappointed."

Not a very sexy title but then it's not a very sexy book. Just solid advice.

"Delivers what it promises, a way for regular people to grow their savings with plenty of diversification and low risk, low investment of time, and low knowledge of investing."
