Jenna M. Prestidge was born and raised on the shores of Georgian Bay near Owen Sound in Ontario, Canada. Jenna started playing hockey as a child when a ‘girls only’ team was formed in her hometown in the 1990s. Thirty years later, she is still lacing up her skates. Hockey has led Jenna to many new teams, many new friendships, and many new adventures. After becoming a mother, it didn’t take her long to realize just how few hockey books featured female characters, so she set out to create them. Inspired by her own daughter, ‘Rosie’, and written for all the hockey players out there: past, present and future.
