BILL WAISER is one of Canada’s foremost historians and the author of twenty-one books, including A World We Have Lost: Saskatchewan before 1905. He’s known for his engaging, popular style, which draws on the power of stories. Bill’s work has earned him two Governor General Awards. He has also been honoured with the Order of Canada and the Saskatchewan Order of Merit. The Globe and Mail newspaper has said that “Saskatchewan has certainly found its historian.”

BOB FERGUSON started serious photography in 2011, one year prior to his retirement. That year, he attended a photography course at the Emma Lake Kenderdine Campus, the first of several week-long Photography Courses offered by John Perret. It was then that his passion for landscape and wildlife photography took hold. Bob takes photos mostly within Prince Albert National Park and posts his work under the name of Seniors Moment Photography. He finds that there is nothing more rewarding than wandering in nature, with only the sound of the wind, the water and the wildlife, which inspire his photography.

JOHN PERRET lives in Saskatoon but has travelled extensively throughout Saskatchewan and North America, photographing the natural beauty of the landscape. He has taught for thirty years and has gained important knowledge in photography, graphic arts, and the visual arts. A practising photographer, he has published a book on prairie landscapes called Saskatchewan In Sight published by Fifth House Publishing. His latest book, Love This Saskatchewan, is self published and has been met with great success. His goal is to do what he loves and continue producing the most outstanding photographic images nature has to offer.
