Reviews

Thoroughly enjoyable

"I quite enjoyed this book. I really liked how we switched between the different groups following Cinder, Scarlet, and occasionally Kai and queen Lavana. The romance aspect between Scarlet and Wolf was handled decently, and I liked the wolf nature reasoning to explain why Wolf was able to reject the Thaumaturge’s control. I enjoyed learning more about what happened to Cinder, and Queen Lavana having operatives on the earth was not surprising for here, and I thought it was handled really well. I liked the touch of them being wolves because of the connection to the moon. I am excited to see what happens next."

Age gap????

"Would’ve rated 5 stars but the age gap between Scarlett and Wolf was freaking me out tbh. She’s a minor and he’s in his 20s…"

Scarlet Hardcover by Marissa Meyer

"It was okay. I didn’t like the alpha trope (it was a bit cringe) but I read it because I wanted more of the world Meyer created. It’s cool how she utilizes the characters and is able to integrate them into a plot in her retellings."

An Awesome Follow Up!

"This was such an awesome second instalment in the Lunar Chronicles series. I was absolutely addicted the whole time and didn’t want to do anything but continue reading because I was SO sucked in and just had to know what came next! Can’t wait to continue on with the third and final book of the series!"
