Reviews

Good, but too long.

"I liked Shift more than I liked Wool. It gave us more insight into the Silo series, but I found the pace slow and a bit drawn out. It only picked up by the last 100 pages. It was good enough to make me want to read the third book, but I find I get tired of the storyline quickly. I think it could have been shorter."

From show to book

"Reading this after watching the first 2 seasons of the show. Can't wait to start reading the 3rd volume!"

Analog C. (5/5)

Keeps your interest

"Interesting and well written. Keeps interest and encourages reader to think"

Dystopian Book Club Assignment

"I didn't think I would like this book series, although I do love the Silo tv series. Weird, I know, because the book is always better. I liked Wool, but found myself more interested in Juliette's story line so I rushed through other parts. With Shift, it's just been fascinating all the way through. I'm admittedly not very patient with hundreds of pages of world-building but that was already done in Wool. Shift is all story and it's good. I'm in a Dystopian Book Club so it was assigned reading and I have to say, I never would have picked this up even though I have a friend who loved the book and was ""meh"" about Silo. In our Book Club discussion, we said that with reading the two books, you can see Howey progress as a writer because Shift is so much better."

Heather (5/5)

Great sequel

"I’m so happy that I picked up this second book in the Silo Series, definitely worth the read!"

MBae (4/5)

"Great book, all have been in this series. Well worth the read for anyone interested in this sort of genre"

Spacemonkey (5/5)

What did they do, those crazy politicians!????

"The plot thickens as you find out more about the causes of the apocalypse. . . ."

Duncan W. (5/5)

It works well with the Shift’s in the book.

"Easy to read and a wonderful concept for a trilogy series."

Lena (5/5)

Silo Series Recommend

"Good series of books. Wool book 1 and Dust book 3 are better in my opinion, this is a little slower read, but puts a lot into context."

H. x. (5/5)

Amazing!

"This book series is one of the best written in my opinion. The twist and turns are so captivating. Highly recommend if you like page turners."
