Joan Tabb has a passion for children and social justice, combined with a creative and expressive love of art, story and magic. Her life and work have always bridged corporate and community endeavors. Joan has been a global marketing and communications leader for Silicon Valley companies like Apple, Intel and several start ups. She also has an executive and career coaching practice, Greatin8Coaching.com and has
written books on job seeking skills and the new retirement.
Joan earned a degree in Psychology, with honors, from the University of Pennsylvania and she earned a master's degree in Instructional Technology from the University of Oregon.
She and her husband David, live in Santa Rosa, California, and hour north of San Francisco where their adults son, Daniel, lives.
Together the love to present Always Sam and Siempre Sam to children and families in libraries, schools, community groups and other gathering places. They are committed to giving back and being of service and love to advance Sam's mission of leading with kindness.
