This one's interesting

"I've tried to read Sweetbitter about 3 times, but I couldn't get into it. After watching the show, I decided to give it a 4th shot, and I'm so glad I did. It's so captivating and fantastic. Also, it's completely different from the show. A must read for any young woman!!!"

Samantha (5/5)

Good!

"I picked this up during my flight out and it was a good read while I was on the plane. It was funny and I enjoyed the read."

The Best Book about Food You've Ever Read

"Despite the controversy that surrounded Danler's book deal, Sweetbitter is a gorgeous and venomous piece."

Mack (5/5)

ok

"A great novel with clever, easy to follow writing with funny and witty characters. Definitely a must read!"

Brynngreen92 (3/5)

It's OK.

"This was one of those books that I wanted to like, but really didn't enjoy it. It took me about 200 pages to get into the novel before I finally started enjoying it. The character Tess was really hard for me to connect with. Overall a decent novel about the coming of age and beautifully written, but I did not enjoy the actual plot."

Jenny (3/5)

Intriguing

"The way Stephanie writes is unique and creative - it doesn't just feel like fiction it feels like literature. Sweetbitter was intriguing from the very beginning and you feel like you're not only getting to know the characters, but Stephanie as well."

Samantha (4/5)

Excellent!

"I loved it! It was a complete flashback to my early years in the service industry. I couldn't put it down. The writing was great and the book reflected the alluring and dangerous reality of the restaurant industry."
