I LOVE these stories!

"I absolutely LOVE these stories! And as someone who hasn’t yet read The Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit, it’s a good introduction to Tolkien’s style. Roverandom is the PERFECT bedtime story! Light and comforting, I found myself reading it slowly, savouring the world and the story. Farmer Giles of Ham is adventurous and kept me turning the page, wanting more. And Leaf by Niggle created a beautiful study in existence, the meaning of life, and God. Overall, the book is DEFINITELY worth a read, especially if you enjoy taking stories a little bit slow."

Tolkien

"This book lets you appreciate more of Tolkien's works both inside Lord of the Rings (Tom Bombadil) and outside of it (Farmer Giles of Ham)! Alan Lee is the illustrator of this book which if you have read other Tolkien work you know Alan Lee is a phenomenal artist and truly helps brings the work of Tolkien alive."

Tralina H. (5/5)

A beautiful tittle for amazing stories !

"Engaging stories that truly transport you to a beautiful world. This is an excellent book to read with older children who love that fantasy world!"

Glued back not sewn bound

"Happy with overall shape of the book but not the binding for the price. All the others of the same publisher and style are sewn bound and read much better. As this is Tolkien, it is going to be well loved and handled tons. The glued back will probably not make it through 10 readings for the average reader, before page loss or spine tearing take its toll. I will baby this copy, for it is now mine. My own. My. . ."

Candace (5/5)
