"Set up in modern day London, a young woman is bought by a strangely looking wizard to become his apprentice and. . . wife. Although the title sounds strange, the story itself is intriguing, beautiful and mysterious. It reveals that magic still exist, that there are supernatural creatures living among humans. I recommend highly this series."

I have read all the volumes thus far and am in love with the story. The first volume sets off everything you need to know and introduces you to the main characters that are actually very likeable!

Not A Bad Start

"Okay so from researching the genre of this book prior I found that it was a dark fantasy and that's really been catching my eye lately so I wanted to try this other manga that's been going on for a while. I wasn't disappointed as I was pleased with my selection but I'm not really hooked yet. It usually takes me around 2 volumes to determine whether I'm into a series or not but I will buy the second volume later this week. It was a long read. I felt as though so much happened in just the first 20 pages of the book and it felt kind of rushed. The male protagonist proposes to the female protagonist right after buying her and, although he is her mentor, they experience so much in such a short time frame. However, the translations were well done and they plot is well established. Despite my belief that it feels rushed it does seem to be planned out properly."
