Michael Lewis doesn't disappoint

"I've read some of his other books and I heard the movie was great but I'd never read or watched The Big Short. Do yourself a favor and read it; it's more than worth it. I think that's his best work."

Vincent (5/5)

Well written

"Awesome book. Very well written. I purchased a couple more Michael Lewis books to read."

Frank (5/5)

Great read

"A great account of the financial crisis. An invaluable learning experience for investors."

Jon G. (5/5)

smh

"these books piss me off but are great and informative, of course"

Jaxon (4/5)

Hindsight is 20/20

"This book is written with a slightly arrogant tone looking back at the financial crisis. Leave it to Michael Lewis to find the guys that saw this coming and made a fortune off of it. The book comes across as though hindsight is 20/20 which would be the only suggestion for improvement. Michael Lewis has been in the business book business for a long time and each read is outstanding."

Kbro7ca (5/5)

Loved the writing style

"I really enjoyed this book even though it was a bit over my head. I feel like the author did his best to make the reader understand some of the more complicated financial terms which helped to get a better grasp on what was happening. I feel like a really learned a lot from this book. #plumreview"

Witty and Wonderful

"This was an amazing book, very easy to read no matter what your finance knowledge is. It really gives you insight as to the 2008 stock market crash"

"Loves reading these kinda books"

One of the best business books of the past two decades.—Malcolm Gladwell, New York Times Book Review

No one writes with more narrative panache about money and finance than Mr. Lewis…[he] does a nimble job of using his subjects’ stories to explicate the greed, idiocies and hypocrisies of a system notably lacking in grown-up supervision.—Michiko Kakutani, New York Times

Superb: Michael Lewis doing what he does best, illuminating the idiocy, madness and greed of modern finance…Lewis achieves what I previously imagined impossible: He makes subprime sexy all over again.—Andrew Leonard, Salon.com
Michael Lewis is the best-selling author of Liar’s Poker, Moneyball, The Blind Side, The Big Short, The Undoing Project, and The Fifth Risk. He lives in Berkeley, California, with his family.
