When reality won't work.

"Near future possibility. It's only a matter of time."

Danny M. (4/5)

4. 5/5!

"This book is set in the same near future world as “The One“, “The Passengers“ and “The Marriage Act“. In this one a reality show has people who want to be parents raising virtual children in the metaverse, competing to win an IVF procedure. It was cleverly plotted with some great twists. As with the others, it was a thought provoking cautionary tale and I really enjoyed it. Marrs never lets me down. Thanks to Edelweiss for the digital ARC. 4. 5/5!"

Great Story!!

"Another intriguing concept by John Marrs. There's always a darkness to be discovered and that's what makes it interesting to learn the full individual stories."

"It's so, so, good. This book deserves to be huge. It’s speculative fiction at its very best—original, dark and wickedly clever. I was utterly captivated by the way Marrs melded reality TV, AI and a terrifyingly plausible future. He's created a terrifyingly plausible world. The world building, the characters, the reveals and the twists are so well done that this book is crying out for a Netflix adaptation."—C. L. Taylor, author of Every Move You Make
