Emily Schumacher, LPC, ATR is a neurodivergent, white, cis, straight, psychoanalytic psychotherapist and registered art therapist currently residing in New Orleans, LA. She was raised in a typical North Jersey suburb where each McMansion only varied by color or limited layout choice from the neighborhood's developer. She worked at a tanning salon in high school, smoked Marlboro menthol cigarettes in diners, and spent weekends mainly driving around between the local movie theater and the Dunkin' Donuts listening to early 2000's Emo music with her first real boyfriend.
