Very much a pager turner.

"Couldn’t put this book down, kept me wanting more."

Kelly (5/5)

Only ok.

"The main character is hard to like. The book was recommended to me but not for me."

Kim E. (3/5)

Page turner

"Unexpectedly good !! I picked this book out because it was under the section of recommended books. I was interested while reading the back of the book and decided to give it a try. I have never read any books by this author before but I will definitely consider now. This is such a well written book. The author’s writing style and choice of words makes it so compelling and captivating. I couldn’t put this book down. Finished reading it in 3 days. Lots and lots of suspense"

---The Last One at the Wedding.

"Oh my gosh. . . Picked this one up with no recommends or posts on facebook. . I started it a very few days ago. . . . The twists and turns will. make you dizzy. Jason Rekulak pulls us into the story with a quick page turn. . Frank the father of the bride has been estranged from his daughter for three years. A surprise phone call gives him an invite to her wedding. More information arrives and Frank has suspicions of the groom and his family. . Fasten your searbelt. . It will be a rough ride."

"This story had a lot of potential, however the focus shifted to something other than what the sunset outlined. I felt like I was reading a Lifting movie novel of some sort. There was a lot of build up at the beginning. Sadly, not a book I would recommend."

Couldn’t Put It Down

"I could not stop reading this book! I just had to find out what was going to happen!"

Jacks (5/5)

4. 5/5 Stars!

"I really enjoyed this book. While it is a suspense novel, at its heart it is a tale about parental love and how far we would go to protect our child. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters of Frank and his sister Tammy, but especially loved the addition of Abigail, a smart 10 year old foster child. The story elicited feelings of both distaste and sadness for the characters, broken up by lots of humour. Thanks to Edelweiss+ for the digital advance reading copy. 4. 5/5 stars!"

Unpredictable

"Fun, action-packed murder mystery with twists you didn't see coming."

Avid R. (5/5)

Enjoyed!

"3. 75 ⭐️. Frank is actually one of the most likeable narrators I’ve read in awhile. Nothing like a father’s love. Even when the child is a terrible person. Frank is estranged from his daughter for 3 years before she unexpectedly calls him saying she is getting married. But something is off about her soon to be husband. Really didn’t expect the twists. I thought it would be more atmospheric with the whole forest/cabin aspect. Triggered reading this because my Dad died & also worked for UPS for almost 30 years. As part of the UPS family, I appreciated the representation. I personally enjoyed this one."

The Last One At The Wedding will have you on the edge of your seat.

"Quite good domestic thriller about a Father reconnecting with his estranged daughter over her wedding weekend. However, things don’t feel right. I was on the edge of my seat for most of this book. The denouement is a tiny bit underwhelming, hence why I dropped it down to 4 stars."
