Murder in Canada’s Social Elite!

"Massey Murders by Charlotte Grey is not just an interesting story about the untimely death of a prominent Canadian. It is also a fascinating story about the social norms of Canada, focussed on Toronto. The story is true and without revealing the outcome, it is also the story of major changes to Canada’s judicial and courts system. Charlotte Grey is an easy author to read. She provides interesting insights without getting bogged down in minutiae. This particular book, The Massey Murder, is one that I have given away to many Canadian friends and it never fails to receive positive responses!"

“Gray uses discerning research and a perceptive tone to weave a compelling tale of murder, class conflict and societal changes brought on by war in early 20th-century Canadian society. In The Massey Murder, Gray shows real kindness and compassion, bringing a sense of humanity to a once-lurid tale from the tabloids.” - Winnipeg Free Press
