"Jackson has created a raw and fascinating figure in the form of Camille, and she is a powerhouse throughout the novel, tapping into natural confidence and strength that never stops and never ceases to impress. This is a new world we're exploring as readers (or at least in my case) and seeing this sort of up close and personal look at Silicon Valley and the power-hungry, passionate people behind the scenes today was exciting, to say the least. I felt like the pace of the novel was somewhat inconsistent, and there were some areas of the story where tangential plot lines pulled me away from the main thrust of the story, but generally, there was a good flow and a solid rhythm to the writing. Camille's rugged exterior is complemented by her insightful, gifted mind, allowing her to navigate the dangerous waters of professional ambition, love, lust, and power. This is a sexy insight into Silicon Valley in a way that few books have done, and in a way that few authors would be able to achieve. Nicely done on all fronts."
