"Rainbow Fish’s multicolored scales — which include bits of silver holographic foil, a shiny touch sure to dazzle young readers — are coveted by the rest of the fish in the reef, who shun him when he callously refuses to give just one to a little blue fish. A visit to a wise octopus helps him learn that while being the most beautiful fish in the ocean might be nice, it’s far nicer to share the good things in life with friends."
