The Sort Stork has an important job. They live in the Cloud Palace and have to sort all the letters and packages coming in. Important letters for kings, of course. Even more important love letters. And once in a while, an urgent package that contains a baby to be delivered.
But the villainous Chaos Cat works against them. They don't want a specific shiny letter to be delivered. Why? Who are they? And what's inside that could be so bad? Follow the Sort Stork as they sort and group letters in all sorts of ways, trying to do their work despite the chaos!
This story is split into 10 chapters. Each chapter is written to be as standalone as possible, so you can read one short chapter to your Apprentice(s) at a time. See it as many short stories combined into one bundle, with an overarching thread that connects them.
This book is part of the fun and educational stories from The Wayward Melody. It explores the idea of logically comparing and grouping items, which allows a new and crucial skill called sorting. That's why we wanted to devote some unique fairy tales to this concept, practicing the skill and showing ways to apply it in practice.
