Synopsis
Eighty years after the "Great Sealing," the city of Neo-London has become a vertical nightmare of neon and steel, ruled by the tyrannical High Council. The citizens are oppressed, and their "soul-energy" is harvested to power the city's corrupt infrastructure.
Zane Thorne, a scavenger living in the slums, discovers a mysterious Sapphire Drive that contains the digital ghost of his ancestor, Adrian Thorne. Adrian reveals that the city was never meant to be a prison, but a bridge to a prosperous future that was hijacked by the Council.
Zane and a psychic girl named Lyra embark on a dangerous journey to the Zero-Hour Tower—the heart of the world's time-stream. Along the way, they battle the Council’s mechanical "Keepers" and eventually enter the Temporal Limbo, where time is fractured into pieces.
To save the world from an invading force known as the Devourers, Zane is forced to make the ultimate sacrifice. He uses a Temporal Paradox to travel back to the year 2025, where he meets a young Adrian Thorne and corrects the fatal flaw in the original Chronos-Bridge equations.
This action triggers a "Golden Ripple," rewriting 100 years of history. Neo-London is replaced by Chronopolis, a utopian city of light. Although Zane successfully saves the world, he returns to a reality where no one remembers the scavenger he used to be. The story concludes with Zane regaining his memories and accepting his role as the Eternal Guardian of the new timeline, prepared to defend Earth against the looming cosmic threats of the future.
