"There's More Than One Way Home is that rare thing - an original story. In an extraordinary setting, the deepest human emotion and fears come to the fore in a curiously captivating and unexpected way." - Jacquelyn Mitchard, author, Oprah Book Club(R) Selection novel, The Deep End of the Ocean (Penguin Books) "[A] mother questions her relationships with family and friends after classmates accuse her autistic son of murdering a student.... Through her fast-paced prose, engaging plot, and sharp insights, Levin underscores how intolerance and ignorance can cause difficult situations to spiral out of control.... A witty, modern voice delivers a captivating tale about a mysterious death that feels like a light read but soon submerges the reader deep into the throes of substance." - Kirkus Reviews "Donna Levin is a storytelling pro, who creates characters who come alive in every scene." - Lalita Tademy, author Oprah Book Club(R) Selection novel Cane River (Warner Books) and Red River (Grand Central Publishing) "At the heart of Donna Levin's novel, There's More than One Way Home, is the narrator's search for autonomy ... The novel's strength lies in its ability to go beyond superficialities. ... There's More than One Way Home deals substantively with issues like autism, and by doing so, stands to appeal to a broad audience as a worthy entry into popular fiction." - Geraldine Richards, Foreword Reviews "A complex protagonist trapped in a tragic circumstance that affects so many.... A book that most readers will devour in a weekend." - Donna Gillespie, author of the The Light Bearer and Lady of the Light (Berkley/Putnam)" "Donna Levin is a master storyteller and captures the quirky path that a mother of a child with autism must navigate to protect a son who can't walk it alone. She does it with warmth, sensitively and great humor. I enjoyed every moment of the nail biting plot!" - Laura Shumaker, San Francisco Chronicle autism columnist/blogger "Levin knows how to engage and entertain a reader." - Lesley Kagen, author of Whistling in the Dark and Tomorrow River (Penguin Group) "[A] novelist to keep high on your reading list." - Digby Diehl, the Los Angeles Times (on California Street) "There's a new author on the literary block and she is good - very good." - Ruth McGregor Coyne, Rocky Mountain News (on Extraordinary Means)
