Uglies

"Loved it, i was hooked to the end, good in both the movie"

KayCee (3/5)

Love!

"Another love, can’t wait to get my hands on the next 2 books"

CJack (4/5)

Became a chore to read :(

"I'm so sad I hated this because I thought the concept had so much potential T-T. It was as cliché as it could possibly be. The writing felt very juvenile (even for a YA book) and the characters were very bland and unlikeable. The plot was predictable and the romance was unnecessary. I was very unmotivated to read it towards the middle/end of the novel."

Eliya (2/5)

love

"I enjoyed this reread of this book. The character of Shay and David were probably my favourite characters. I am really excited to see what book two has to offer. Highly recommend!"

Tina (4/5)

Interesting concept

"I really liked the plot/idea of this story. It was well executed and had really good high tension moments even though there were many slow parts. I overall really enjoyed this book so much that I continued to read the last three books in the series."

Sonia (4/5)

Jacquelyn (5/5)

Enjoyed it

"I really enjoyed reading this book! The only problem I had was the covers of the books in this series are a bit strange when you bring them out in public!"

HelpfulReader (4/5)

"I read this book back when in 2008 and have re-read it multiple times. It holds up against the changes in time and it quite an interesting dystopian novel. must read!"
