I thoroughly enjoyed every piece in this collection. The emotions in this work are raw and deeply relatable, capturing small yet profound journeys of self-discovery and healing. The title "Violet Tendencies" piqued my interest, and as I delved into the text, it became clear how it served as the cohesive force binding everything together. Each preceding piece felt like a vivid, emotional fragment, swirling in a spectrum of experiences. But when I reached "Violet Tendencies," it skillfully brought all these fragments into a harmonious whole - a beautifully composed and grounded reflection of the author's essence. As the curtain lifts in this piece, we, the readers, find ourselves as an audience to the author's ultimate unveiling. We witness the culmination of their journey, revealing how interconnected we all are through shared feelings and experiences.

I don't know why, but the last part of Tentless Revival. The imagery was so strong that I felt I was (watching) it unfold so there were a lot of feelings there, whimsical yet devastating all at once. As for Energy Vampire, just overall wow and what's so interesting, and I'm not sure if it was intentional on your part, it's titled "Energy Vampire" and though that had nothing to do with my impression, that's exactly how I felt while reading it. Every line was like a surge of energy - an empowering, liberating sensation - very difficult to put into words, but I loved it

Violet Tendencies by Heidi Michelle reads like a secret diary of the author's most sacred hopes, dreams, and loves.

As a music fanatic, I love how snippets of the song are seamlessly woven through the poetry, creating a flow and continuity to the work while exploring universally human topics such as love and loss, aging, sexual harassment, and religion.

I truly appreciate Heidi's bravery in sharing her story. It's a book that will make you think and feel.
