Henrik Frier Hansen was born in 1965 in Denmark. In the year 2000 he decided to quit his good job, sell his house and the old Toyota - in order to move to Chile with his Chilean wife and try a different lifestyle as settler and pioneer in a small rural part of southern Chile. Many things have happened since, which are all part of a completely different story, but many trips have been made not only to and from Chile - but also extensive travels within the country. Encounters with an extraordinary country, its wonderful people and not least a spectacular nature has been the foundation and inspiration for this book. This has turned into a travel guide that shows personal insight and will give you a good idea of what it´s like to travel in Chile and what you could expect when going there.
